Now I Know Why My Trip Was Delayed

Wow! What an experience I had this past Saturday, 6/6/09. Since my Alaskan trip was on hold I spent the weekend with my youngest son and his family and attended a dance recital that included two of his three daughters. The special treat was seeing him dance on stage with his youngest daughter. That was one of those very special moments in life that come all too infrequently.

Boy am I glad that I didn't miss out on this experience. And now I have a very special memory to take with me on my future travels.

At this point I expect to be back home Monday and finish preparations of an early Tuesday morning departure for Alaska.
